Ideas Have Consequences
"What's good for our families is good for our state."
If successful in this year long job interview with the voters of the 64th District and they decide to return me to Raleigh:
- Despite the ravages of Bidenflation North Carolina's economy is growing and steadily improving. I will continue to work to improve our state economy by opposing job-killing tax increases. Alamance County taxpayers deserve a strong voice in Raleigh to protect their hard earned money. This is not the time to be taking more money out of the shrinking wallets of Alamance County taxpayers.
- As a small business owner I understand that excessive regulations become needless obstacles to business growth and job creation. I know you have to work hard to succeed in any business, large or small. Government bureaucracy and red tape slows economic expansion and hinders economic progress. I will work to reduce obstacles to sound business growth with annual proposals dealing with Regulatory Reform.
- I will support limited constitutional government and work to make our state government more efficient and effective thru evidence-based policy making.
- I will support our University and Community College system.
- As a former high school teacher and coach I will continue to work for locally controlled, results oriented safe schools, where educational achievement is the mission. I support a parent's right to choose the educational opportunities they believe are best for their children.
- What is good for our families is good for our state. I believe in the traditional family, each child deserves a caring mom and dad in their home and I will work to protect innocent human life, and will fight to keep women's sports for women.
- I will defend our 2nd Amendment rights.
- I voted in favor of the common sense Voter ID bill to ensure the integrity of our elections. I continue to support that legislation.
- I will continue my work to protect children from sexual predators.
- I strongly support law enforcement and oppose efforts to defund our police.
"I will be a strong voice for the hardworking taxpayers, businesses and families of the 64th District."
To do this I need your help. Thank you for your kind consideration.
"You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.
You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.
You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down.
You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.
You cannot build character and courage by taking away people's initiative and independence.
You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves."
